Quantity Surveyor - Social Housing Contractor - Permanent - Birmingham - Up To £45k Basic Plus Package.

Vacancy:

Currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join a large social housing maintenance contractor based in the Midlands. My client work on a variety of contracts including planned maintenance, responsive repairs and voids. The role would be to join a growing commercial team with multiple frameworks and projects in the pipeline and would be ideal for a Quantity Surveyor looking to develop his career.  

Duties: 

The successful candidate will be reporting into a Senior Quantity Surveyor and be expected to carry out general quantity surveying duties such as procurement, managing sub-contractor accounts, pricing works/valuing works, on site measuring, working to schedule of rates, monthly CVR'S, variations, valuations and final accounts.

 Client:

My client is a main social housing maintenance contractor based in the UK operating throughout the UK. They have a large portfolio of contracts with a number of local authorities. Down to growth within the business they have a very exciting Quantity Surveyor position available. 

 Requirements:

Successful candidates will have experience working within the social housing sector. They will have a good understanding of social housing contracts, schedule of rates and managing a variaty of packages. They will have a BSc or HND (or equivalent) in quantity surveying.
