Salary: Grade 9 £39,660 - £41,551 pro rata for hours worked (Pay Award Pending) market forces supplement available for an exceptional candidate
Working Hours: 37 hours per week

We are looking to appoint a Systems and Reconciliations Manager to develop and maintain our financial system (Integra) ensuring the accuracy and robustness of the data held on our ledgers. If you have flair for finance with proven experience in maintaining systems, this is an exciting opportunity to use your skills to influence and innovate the use of finance systems within the Council.
You will be joining an accountancy team with a strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service and you will be tasked with delivering high quality management information through the use of systems, optimising the functionality within our systems, as well as working with service managers and users outside the finance team.
The successful candidate will manage the reconciliation team and play an important role in supporting the group accountants in budget setting, the closure of accounts and internal/external audit. You will also be involved with internal and external audits and support the year end close down process.
To be successful in this role ideally you will be CCAB qualified (part qualified accountants will be considered), with proven experience of maintaining financial ledgers. You will have advanced computer skills and experience of managing staff.
