Senior Property Services Manager
Ocean Housing is recruiting for a Senior Property Services Manager, which will offer a unique and exciting opportunity for an individual who will play a key role in delivering Ocean Housing’s Company Plans and progress the objectives of their large in-house Property Services Maintenance Team.
As the leader of approximately 60 maintenance team staff, the successful applicant will ensure the efficient and effective delivery of a high quality and cost effective day to day repairs, voids, cyclical M&E maintenance and planned works teams to approximately 4,000 tenants homes, spread geographically throughout Cornwall.
The role will be responsible for the effective and efficient leadership and management of all aspects of the Property Services Maintenance Team. In addition, the role will support and deliver Ocean Housing’s Company Plans with a key focus on delivering excellent customer service, quality and value for money.
You will have a strong background of performance, service improvement, change management and working with teams and customers to deliver a broad range of projects with demanding deadlines. You will be highly driven with the ability to work under pressure. In addition, you will be knowledgeable within the maintenance functions pertaining to this sector with the ability to make great use of technology and insight to continuously improve services achieving high levels of customer satisfaction.
You will be degree qualified or have equivalent experience in a relevant discipline. Proven track record and experience of managing a substantial scale property maintenance function is essential. The ability to demonstrate service and performance improvement skills, change management experience, complaints handling and the preparation and management of budgets is essential. Knowledge of the social housing sector would be desirable as would Chartered status in a relevant discipline.
