Genesis Housing Association currently has a brand new opening for a Service Delivery Manager to join our new Reablement Service at Freeman Court in Chelmsford, Essex.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who seeks to develop their managerial career. You will be given the opportunity to implement and lead a brand new Reablement Service in one of our existing Extra Care services.

This new team will work with people living in our service for up to 6 weeks to regain skills and confidence to live as independently as possible; usually where accident or illness has caused them to lose the ability to do the things at home they used to do.

You will be responsible for managing frontline reablement staff and to oversee the co-ordination of the service. You will ensure service compliance with CQC and Health and Safety Standards by signing off support plans and risk assessments. You will be responsible for building relationships with hospital staff and managing the discharge process to Freeman Court Reablement service.

This is a critical hire to ensure the day to day operations and smooth running of the service . You will also contribute to the future development of reablement.

We are looking for a Manager to inspire and be capable of leading a team to ensure the service provides excellent customer experience.

We are ideally looking for a clinically experienced candidate with a hospital or medical background as you will need to build strong relationships with the hospital discharge team, speaking to them in terms and language that they are familiar with. It is also essential that you have previous experience of delivering housing and support services.
