We are currently seeking a Deputy Director of Property and Asset Management to join our team based in Redhill. As a member of the Leadership Team, this role supports the strategic direction of Raven, delivering strategies and wider corporate objectives running across the organisation. Working alongside other members of the Leadership Team, you’ll create the big picture and lead in the implementation of strategies that develop the business.
Leading a large department of around 80 staff that includes DLO, facilities management and contract management, you’ll operate effective performance management systems that maximise the performance of the department. You’ll develop, manage and implement an effective asset management strategy, ensuring that Raven invests in and uses its assets in an effective way and that responsive and planned works are properly integrated and aligned. You’ll also be responsible for all property health and safety compliance and for developing and implementing a procurement strategy, ensuring that best value for money is achieved and risks are fully understood and effectively managed.
The successful candidate will be a driven and tenacious senior manager who is looking for an opportunity to focus on quality, profit and value for money. You’ll have a passion for driving high standards and you’ll reflect the values of our business with ease. You’ll have an open approach to your role, enabling you to build effective and honest relationships and you’ll communicate in a way that inspires and motivates. You should have experience of managing budgets, delivering risk management strategies, leading asset management strategies and you’ll be capable of promoting diversity across the business.
We are seeking a confident people manager who can coach and mentor others and who has a strong commercial acumen with the ability to understand risk and exploit opportunities.
