Administrator

Birmingham Road, West Bromwich

£19,372 per annum (rising to £20,719 after 12 months service subject to satisfactory performance)

35 hours per week

This job sits within Reinvestment and Compliance which is responsible for delivering high quality reinvestment programmes and managing the Group’s compliance responsibilities including gas servicing and fire risk assessments to ensure the Group’s properties comply with legislation. It is also responsible for procuring energy suppliers, monitoring consumption and improving energy efficiency, as well as being responsible for the Group’s Asset Performance Team who undertake the annual Decent Homes and Scottish Housing Quality Standard returns.

We are looking for an experienced Administrator to provide an effective administrative support service. Key duties will include first class record keeping as well as the preparation and distribution of statistical information relating to Asset Management activities.

Working as part of a team, you will also take the lead in supporting the Asset Coordinator and Asset Manager with the management of administrative, planning and financial processing; monitoring and co-ordinating performance related activities, taking minutes of meetings, producing letters and reports, raising purchase orders and assisting with the general day to day function of the Reinvestment team. This will also include diary management along with processing transactional data on the department’s Management Information.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills allowing you to respond effectively and to resolve queries. You will also build and maintain relationships with a variety of internal and external customers. You must be proficient using software in particular, Microsoft Excel and Word (or similar).The ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative, a flexible attitude to work, ability to prioritise your workload and meet strict deadlines are all essential.
