Pre Construction Manager

Do you want to work for a forward thinking commercial Housing Trust, which offers great benefits? This includes up to 51 days off per year and flexible working in our state of the art offices.

We lead the way in our sector for being innovative, having a very open and honest culture that breads high performance.

Peaks & Plains Housing Trust is a local company with a portfolio of approximately 5000 affordable homes in Macclesfield and the surrounding areas. We are passionate about what we do in providing high quality homes and investing in our communities to improve people’s lives.

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Pre Construction Manager to join us to work with the Head of Development to identify and negotiate suitable development opportunities aligned to priorities of the Trust. The successful candidate will work with developers and architects to create suitable schemes which challenge the norm, with a specific focus on design quality whilst providing support across the development team and wider Homes Team as necessary regarding design, project viability, procurement options and active asset management to deliver value for money.

The post holder will ensure that the development programme meets the highest aspirations of the Growth and Development strategy of the Trust. This role will focus on the management of activities during the pre-construction period up to getting new development projects on site, which includes the technical, design and financial evaluation of development projects to ensure the highest quality design standards are met while taking account of individual housing markets and our customers.

Our benefits package is second to none and one that you would expect of an employer of choice.
