Community Projects & Partnerships Support Worker

Full Time (35 hours per week)

£24,135 per annum plus benefits

Poplar HARCA is a Housing Association managing 9,000 homes with a network of community centres hosting a range of activities for local people.  We are committed to our ethos of “Creating Opportunity” which means we not only provide decent homes for people but look to actively address social inequality and give local residents the tools to make positive changes in their lives.

We are looking for a passionate and motivated individual who is flexible and willing to go the extra mile for our residents. You should be creative and willing to learn about all aspects of community work.

As part of the Communities and Neighbourhoods Team, your main areas of work will revolve around supporting and maintaining good relationships with our residents and partners and connecting with hard-to-reach residents.

Reporting to the Community Projects and Partnerships Officer you will contribute to the delivery of an exciting range of services to a diverse range of communities. You will also assist in supervising volunteers and capacity building residents to create and run their own projects. Young people are a special focus for us and you should be comfortable and passionate about getting the best out of them.
