Building Homes. Developing Futures

Are you looking to make a difference in 2018 with a new and exciting challenge?

We're looking for an exceptional Internal Auditor to undertake a programme of assurance and internal audits across a range of financial and operational processes within Clarion Housing Group.

About the role

Reporting directly to the Audit Manager, you'll be responsible for developing audit scopes and delivering high quality internal audit reviews. We'll look to you to provide professional support and guidance in various areas of our business and assess the effectiveness of the design and operation of the Group's internal controls.

This is such an exciting time for you to join us as we introduce enterprise-wide systems to transform how we do business in the future. We'll need you to support the development of detailed test plans and to deliver timely, well-written and precise reports. You'll be tasked with evaluating our systems and recommending practical control improvements.

This is a role which involves you building strong relationships with people at all levels across the organisation, especially when advising project teams responsible for risk management.

Put simply, you'll make sure that we have clear and effective internal control systems throughout the Group.

About you

You'll be an experienced and skilled auditor with Accountancy (CCAB) or audit qualifications and will be proficient in using computer-assisted audit techniques. You'll be able to demonstrate your understanding of auditing standards and have a wealth of experience in process auditing, audit planning, delivery and reporting and, ideally, operational controls auditing.

An understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning systems and the regulatory environment within the Housing Sector would also be beneficial.

Your technical skills and knowledge, including excellent prioritisation, multi-tasking and problem solving skills will be supported by your fantastic ability to communicate. We'll also need you to be enthusiastic, with a proactive approach when leading and influencing change.

This is a fantastic opportunity to utilise your extensive skills and experience to really make a difference.

In return we offer you a competitive salary and generous benefits package in a supportive environment, with plenty of scope for your career advancement and salary progression.

If you feel your attributes and skillset match our requirements, then we would love to hear from you.

Applicants must be able to travel across regions as required.
