Service Manager - Housing Estates Management and Support

Salary Range - up to £60,374 (pay award pending)

Work Location - Appletree Court, Lyndhurst

Hours per week - 37

Contract Type - Permanent

 

We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated professional to lead the Council’s Housing Estate Management, Income and Rent Accounting Teams. With over 5000 Council properties, you will be responsible for providing an excellent management service dealing with tenants, enforcing tenancy conditions, rent setting and income, including the Right to Buy process.

You will have thorough knowledge of Housing law in these areas and the management skills to lead a team through change to modernise work practices, policies and procedures.

You will have exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, sound judgement and the necessary drive to implement a proactive approach in the Council’s dealings with its tenants. You must also be able to think strategically and have excellent communication skills in order to work and engage with a wide variety of people, including councillors, tenant involvement representatives and other multi-agency partners.
