Location: Colwyn Bay, Conwy, North Wales

Salary: G10: £39,177 - £41,967 per annum Position Package: Permanent 37 hours per week

Are you a forward thinking, talented, dedicated professional, with a proactive approach to identifying housing needs? The successful candidate will play a key role in enabling and maximising affordable housing delivery across the county borough working with Registered Social Landlords and developers as well as bringing forward new models of delivery and seeking out funding opportunities. You will work on a wide range of housing related projects, building and developing partnerships and negotiating positive outcomes for the Council.

With excellent research, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills you will have the ability to provide clear advice and guidance on strategic housing issues.

You should have a degree and professional qualification in housing and have the ability to lead and motivate a small team and have the strength of character to negotiate with and direct others. The ability to communicate through the medium of Welsh is desirable.
