Residential Assistant (Nights)
This is an exciting time to join Genesis Housing as we are recruiting to several jobs in the Suffolk area. Located across seven schemes in Bury St Edmunds, we are looking for 2 x Residential Assistants who will be responsible for the safety and wellbeing of our customers and security of our scheme at night. The scheme accommodation based environments that support single homeless people who may have experienced drug, alcohol, substance misuse problems, and/or have varying support needs.
The primary focus of our schemes is to support clients in a range of areas, including finding employment, recovery from addiction, and building stability through a range of social activities. A successful outcome is achieved when our customers can move on to more suitable long-term accommodation, appropriate to their needs.
Although previous supported housing experience would be suitable for this role, we are also looking for inspirational individuals who will seize the potential of making a difference in people's lives. We want to find motivational individual's that have a genuine interest working with vulnerable people and delivering a person-centred service.
