Care & Support Worker
Hi my name is John, I live in a shared house in Richmond with 7 other people. I live independently and I`m capable of managing my day, but I do need some additional support to achieve this. With severe autism in some situations I face challenges and this is where support workers make all the difference. They can advise and direct me in the best way to undertake tasks so I continue to remain independent and active
My support workers encourage me to be as independent as possible and be involved in social activities so I am a valuable part of the community. However to do this I do need support from special individuals who I enjoy spending time with and make my life even better than it currently is.
You will need to have a positive approach to life and want to do a job that`s reward is what others gain from what you are doing. You will be driven by seeing me and my friends facing new challenges on a daily basis and be what makes a real difference to me being involved in social activities. Ideally you will be a good bowler, that is because it is my favourite activity, but if you can think of new activities out and about that I would enjoy partaking in and can support me in doing you will make me very happy.
If you have not previously done a job like this before, but you have a real desire to support me to live life to the very full I want to meet you to see if you can be my new buddy. You will even get paid for the pleasure of gardening with me which I also like to do in the home. For me to meet you, you will need to apply so please do that as soon as possible.
