An excellent opportunity has arisen to lead our Procurement Team, whilst also joining a forward thinking organisation at an opportune time. Coast & Country Housing are in the process of merging with Scarborough based Yorkshire Coast Homes; the role of Procurement Manager will be fundamental in ensuring compliance and achieving the best value for money for the new merged organisation. 

You will have a unique opportunity to create and influence change in order to deliver a professional, compliant, customer focused procurement service, ensuring an effective structure is in place and opportunities are available for personal development and succession planning.
 
You will lead on the development and implementation of a procurement framework/strategy which delivers value for money and excellent customer service, promoting procurement best practice throughout the organisation, so the ability to work with and influence key internal stakeholders is paramount.
We are looking for a self-motivated individual who tackles challenges with a pragmatic and enthusiastic approach, with a strong background in strategic and operational procurement including public contracts regulations procurement (i.e. OJEU). 

The ideal candidate will have experience of team development and transformation as well as strong communications skills at all levels, with the ability to influence key stakeholders with highly developed negotiation skills.
