Seeing new communities take shape.  That’s when it hits home.

It’s a really exciting time to join Home Group!  We are currently undergoing a significant period of growth and change that will enable us to build more homes, independence and aspirations – the vision that underpins our five-year strategy. Our ambition to build 10,000 new homes, be market leaders in New Models of Care and significantly increase our digital capability is in the hands of our brilliant people.

We are now seeking a Director of Regeneration to support us in delivering our strategic priorities.  In this exciting opportunity, you’ll lead and develop our Regeneration and Propco teams to deliver brilliant regeneration projects and supported accommodation offer for our New Models of Care agenda.  You’ll work collaboratively to transform and improve the quality of local communities, identifying opportunities, taking a holistic view to existing assets, ensuring effective cost management and a strong development pipeline.

You’ll lead the property element of our transition from traditional care and support services to New Models of Care, ensuring an effective programme of disposals, acquisitions and new build properties are in place to support transition.  This is a brilliant opportunity to really make your mark ensuring that we have the right properties in place, so our colleagues can deliver better services with long-term solutions for our customers.  This includes high quality, new accommodation that meets the specialist care needs of customers for many years to come.

You’ll report to Brian, our Executive Director of Development whose passion for regeneration is as much about people and communities as it is the buildings that we own!

A bit about you

It goes without saying that you’ll have relevant professional qualifications in housing, planning, surveying, valuation or a related field as well as extensive senior management experience with the property sector.  This will include housing regeneration, acquisition, development and property management.  Your passion and strong leadership abilities will enable high performing colleagues and will be matched by your resilience and focus on quality and commerciality.  You’ll really impress us with your credibility in the sector, proven skills to lead change, drive continuous improvements and innovation.  You’ll also have a win-win mentality and an ability to unleash the potential of others, making it a great place to work for our colleagues.

A bit about us

Oh, did we mention that we rank No. 27 in the UK’s Best Large Places to work and are winners of Development Programme of the Year 2018 at the Housing Awards?
