Salary: £15,182 - £16,875

We have an exciting opportunity for an Extra Care Scheme Assistant to join us at our Tithe Lodge service in Southam. This key role will see you assist the Scheme Manager to ensure the smooth running of the extra care scheme. You will be responsible for providing resident support to ensure that they are in the best environment possible. You will be second in command and will act as point of reference in the absence of the Scheme Manager.
You will also be responsible for reporting and recording maintenance for communal areas including escalating enquiries where required. You will provide admin support in the office including the upkeep of customer files, general records and filing.
You will work in partnership with other team members and community offices on site including café and carers.
This is a permanent position working 37.5 hours per week. You will work on a rota basis and will need to be flexible to support the needs of the scheme.

This role requires someone who can demonstrate an understanding of care needs and issues affecting Older People.
You will need to demonstrate management and supervisory skills and have experience in a similar setting.
To be successful you'll need to be motivated and committed to working with vulnerable individuals. A working background in elderly care is essential.
We are looking for someone who is kind, compassionate and caring. You'll need to be able to possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
This is a customer facing role so you will need to be calm and professional, with an approachable manner.. Basics for the job will be an admin background and customer service - training will be given where required. Good knowledge of Word, Excel, Emails and computers in general, good organisational skills.
