The Role

Are you looking for an opportunity to be part of a leading and award-winning organisation?

Orbit are looking for a Part Time Sheltered Wellbeing Assistant to join their Housing team, providing specialist housing for people over the age of 55.

Working within a team of Housing and Wellbeing Scheme Assistants you will provide support to the residents, with the aim to enhance their wellbeing and independence. You will encourage and assist customers with organising social activities. Reporting into the Scheme Manager, you assist in contacting residents to discuss and agree actions to improve their wellbeing.

About you

This post presents an excellent opportunity to progress your career. We are looking for an engaging and approachable individual with previous customer service or administration experience. Housing background is desirable rather than essential.

To be suitable for this role you will have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and have a good level of IT skills. You will be proficient and skilled in literacy and numeracy, possessing strong interpersonal and problem solving skills.

This role requires a full driving licence and access to a vehicle as you may be required to travel between schemes.

Please be aware the salary will be offered as £15.605 per annum pro rata, increasing to £16,472 per annum pro rata once probationary period is passed.
