About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Private Sector Housing team for a Part Time Environmental Health Officer. In this interesting and varied role, you'll be responsible for, and lead on the delivery of, all aspects of Private Sector Housing work including enforcement and licensing. You will be guiding and supporting the other members of the team to ensure we deliver an efficient and effective service to our customers.

About you

With a good standard of education, you'll have a Degree or Diploma in Environmental Health and be EHRB registered.

You'll be a confident communicator and highly organised, with the ability to effectively prioritise your own workload and remain calm under pressure. You must be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team, and have good attention to detail, particularly as you will be working within a busy office.

A driving licence is essential to this role as you'll need to travel as required (reasonable adjustments may be possible according to the Equality Act).
