Development Project Manager

Manchester

Salary £40,000 - £49,000 (dependent on experience)

ForViva is a forward-thinking social organisation that positively impacts communities. We're also proud to create opportunities that make things happen - for people, families, homes and communities. We're a busy team with lots to do. We can only achieve this if we've got the right resources so we look for people and partners with as much enthusiasm and passion as we have for making things happen.

Joining us as a Development Project Manager, you will take the lead, working with Directors and other team members on all aspects, on the implementation and delivery of all development projects in ForViva’s Development and ForLiving Teams.

You will work to successfully implement development projects in line with Framework and ISO requirements.  This will include working to develop strong and effective cross functional working initiatives and taking the lead on developing projects; playing a vital role in the risk management of Development activity and will work diligently with the Director of Development and others to provide regular updates and assurances on risk management processes.

Essentially, you will be a key operational manager of the Development Team and ensure that development projects within the approved development programme are successfully delivered.

With a detailed and experienced knowledge of appraising and negotiating development opportunities, and housing association growth initiatives, you must be capable of managing large development projects in a complex and demanding service area and have experience of making HCA bids.  Experience of preparing, negotiating and awarding of development contracts is essential and you should also have a background in the development and successful implementation of service improvement plans.

As well as a competitive salary and a generous holiday entitlement, we offer a range of benefits for a rewarding career including a health cash plan, pension scheme, child care vouchers and staff discount club membership. We’ll also make sure you get the training and benefits you deserve.

ForViva is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all sections of the community
