Tenant safety continues to be our overriding priority and we are looking to strengthen our health, safety and compliance teams, we are currently looking for:
Asbestos and legionella manager
£41,732 plus £2,000 car allowance per annum
You will be responsible for the effective management of asbestos and legionella across Yorkshire Housing’s stock, overseeing testing and monitoring regimes and ensuring that individual projects are delivered to a high standard.
You will also be responsible for ensuring training for colleagues with respect to asbestos identification and potential hazards and legionella awareness; maintaining the quality of data and creating specifications for asbestos and legionella works are also key elements of this role.
We are looking for people who are committed to our company values and can demonstrate this by:
Reliable – You will have extensive knowledge of asbestos and legionella, with relevant qualifications. You should also have working knowledge of maintaining asbestos registers along with experience of the on-site supervision and quality control of asbestos removal works and knowledge of legionella legislation and compliance.
Enthusiastic – You will have methodical approach to prioritising and programming works. Practical in your approach, you will have the ability to communicate well with others and make decisions on best approach from a technical perspective.
Respectful – You will have a full appreciation of the need to respond to the requirements of a customer driven policy along with a clear understanding of Yorkshire Housing’s role as a service provider.
These roles are Leeds city centre based with travel across all sites.
