Operations Manager – Repairs and Voids

An opportunity has become available for an Operations Manager to join us to deliver a high-quality repairs and maintenance service to the Council’s housing property and land portfolio across the borough.
Through Stockport Homes Group’s successful trading company, Threesixty, you will manage a team to deliver quality repairs and maintenance works to the housing stock as well as external works to schools and public buildings. Seeking opportunities for business growth, you must champion personal ownership from all staff and at the same time ensure staff are motivated, coached and developed to meet their maximum potential; ensuring that all services are delivered and provided in compliance with SHG’s financial and procurement rules.
With an understanding of the repairs and maintenance industry, candidates should demonstrate effective leadership skills and the ability to think laterally in order to problem solve successfully.
Demonstrating excellent communication skills, both written and verbal to a range of audiences to promote clear understanding and generate buy-in, you should have an eye for figures and be able to handle complex financial analysis in order to make sound decisions.
