We are the largest landlord group in the North East, owning and managing almost 34,000 homes in an area spanning North Tyneside to York, with the majority of properties in the Tees Valley. We have plans to build at least 2,000 new homes over the next five years, as well as investing over £100m in improving the homes we manage. By doing this, we will make a major contribution to the regeneration of the Tees Valley to support the local economy.

As part of our drive to continue to improve service to our customers, we are positioning neighbourhoods firmly at the heart of our business, and aiming to deliver even more focused services at a local level.

To achieve this we are recruiting to a new role: Neighbourhoods Service Manager, who will manage a small number of Neighbourhood Co-ordinators who will each be responsible for dealing with all customer enquiries at first point of contact for their areas of approximately 350 properties. Delivering high levels of performance you will be responsible for ensuring that all neighbourhoods within your responsibility are managed as “business units”, maximising income and minimising loss. You will achieve this through ensuring the effective delivery of services at a neighbourhood level which includes letting homes, income recovery, tenancy and estate management as well as low level anti-social behaviour. This is a varied and generic role, focused on increasing our visibility and ensuring the best possible experience for people living in a Thirteen home.

As a Neighbourhoods Service Manager, you will drive high performance and satisfaction. You will build trust and identify new and build on existing partnerships.  Responding to the voice of our customers you will be responsible for gathering local intelligence which will shape our investment, development and regeneration plans.

The successful candidate will be required to have a relevant degree or professional qualification and / or be able to show demonstrable experience within the field, including a high level of IT and other media experience.  A full UK driving licence with the ability to travel across the region as required is also essential.

The right person will have experience in leading teams to deliver high levels of performance, motivating and empowering colleagues to deliver. Candidates must have experience and skills in performance management, program and project management with the ability to achieve targets, costs and time deadlines.

This role is currently based in Hartlepool.
