We are a large and high-profile homelessness charity. We currently work across London and the south of England but influence and campaign nationally to help people affected by homelessness rebuild their lives. With an annual turnover of around £90m, we support men and women through more than 330 projects including street outreach, hostel and supportive housing projects, advice services and specialist physical health, mental health and work services. We house 3,000 people every night and our wide range of services help around 25,000 people a year.

We now have more potential than ever to change more lives and influence housing and homelessness policy and services for good. With ambitious growth plans in place, and a highly effective executive team, we’re now seeking a new Trustee to join our Board. In this crucial non-executive appointment, you will contribute through your own professional expertise and background and as a collegiate member of the team, ensuring we are positioned to deliver our strategic priorities. Our relationships with regulators, government and others across our Sector are increasingly important and, as Trustee, you will also act as an ambassador for St Mungo’s, bringing your own network of contacts to support us.

We’re looking for a senior leader with a proven, senior profile in the housing sector who will bring their credibility, skills and insight to an already strong Board, and a passionate staff team. You will share our desire to make a lasting difference to the lives of homeless people now and in the future and will be as excited as we are about our potential to turn bold ambitions into reality.

If you feel you have the experience, credibility and commitment to join us and lead the biggest homelessness charity into a new era, we very much look forward to hearing from you.
