Are you looking for a varied HR role in a modern, customer focussed business that combines commercial thinking with social purpose? Orbit are one of the UK's leading Housing Providers and are looking for an HR Advisor to join our team based in Coventry.
We are currently transforming our HR team, and central to this is the creation of our new Shared Service structure. The result will be a commercial approach to HR, supporting our colleagues to make intelligent decisions on staffing structures, employee relations and business change projects.

The HR Advisor role sits on this career path, and we will work with you to develop your skills in preparation for taking those next steps with us.

Reporting into the Head of HR Transformation, you will provide first line advice, coaching and support within the new Shared Service structure, ensuring a consistent, interactive and customer-centric service for Orbit employees. Completion of pre-employment checks including references, offer letters and contracts will also be part of your role.

The HR team are also at the forefront of business change projects, exchanging knowledge and developing standards of good practice. You will support and assist on these projects, policies and procedures and migration onto new systems.

This role is ideally suited to someone who is looking to progress and take the next steps to developing their HR career. You'll need to have previous experience in an HR Advisor position, it would be especially relevant if you had worked in a Shared Service environment before. Our approach to partnering the business means organisation, communication and resilience are all qualities that a successful Advisor will need.
CIPD qualification would be helpful but we will consider people who are working towards that or about to start it.
