An exciting new opportunity has arisen to support the delivery of operations at the Sundial Centre, which is a focus for community groups, user-led activities and social events. All in aim of encouraging individuals to maximise their health, wellbeing and independence. The post holder will provide high quality customer service

Knowledge/Experience/ Skills required:

  • To ensure receptionist duties are carried out efficiently, politely and calmly, including greeting visitors and handling telephone calls
  • To support the team in line with best practice policies/procedures so that team/departmental goals, objectives and KPIs are achieved ensuring all files are updated on the computer system and input accurately
  • To efficiently and accurately process all financial requirements
  • Experience of administrative work in a busy environment, with ability to prioritise time and work on own initiative
  • To promote activity programs, provide support and help with organising events held at the Centre, including marketing
  • Proficient in the use of all Microsoft Office packages
  • To follow Peabody’s Health and Safety policies and procedures to ensure, as far as is practicable, your own safety and that of others in the workplace. You may be required to undertake specific Health and Safety roles such as Fire Warden or First Aider as part of your duties


  • Experience of working in community development or community / hub setting.
