Social heart with a commercial outlook…

We are the largest landlord group in the North East, owning and managing almost 34,000 homes in an area spanning North Tyneside to York, with the majority of properties in the Tees Valley. We have plans to build at least 2,000 new homes over the next five years, as well as investing over £100m in improving the homes we manage. By doing this, we will make a major contribution to the regeneration of the Tees Valley to support the local economy.

Thirteen people are deeply passionate about what they do and why they do it. We seek to employ people who share our ambition to think and work differently. This means sourcing those passionate individuals who ensure every relationship matters, are reliable, passionate and adaptable in their approach and can work progressively in a high performing, commercially minded environment.

The person

Thirteen are now looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to help take them on the next stage on their journey to create a new delivery team within the Group.  This is an exciting opportunity to help the New Homes delivery Team delivery the targets of our ambitious Board and senior leadership team.  Alongside an in-house Architect and Commercial Manager you will be responsible for engineering elements of taking land opportunities through design, planning and ready for delivery.  You will then work with our Development Co-ordinators, and an appointed Consulting Engineer as the schemes are built out advising on all engineering, drainage and highways matters.

You will have experience in delivering schemes with either a developer or contractor both for the private and affordable sector with the technical and academic knowledge required.

Are you up for the challenge of bringing our vision to life?
