As part of a continued focus on developing and modernising our customer services and wider operational team, we are looking for a Compliance & Asset Specialist (one post), to join our CPS team.
Reporting to the Property Asset Manager, you will support in drawing up and delivering a range of contract documents for cyclical, major/replacement works, service maintenance contracts and liaising with Property Managers and Property Specialists. You will ensure records of compliance related work undertaken are comprehensive, accurate and up to date, including detailed scope of work to be undertaken.
You will ensure accurate and up to date records of all proposed and completed compliance checking and testing work are maintained and current for all Compliance areas whilst enabling landlord compliance related certificates/reports are recorded and checked and that non-compliances and additional/remedial work are identified to the relevant colleague. You will support the analysis of information held on Landlord Compliance related programmes and the performance of the service, whilst preparing and validate reports. You will administer the systems to ensure the creation of work orders, budgets, payments etc. as required to support compliance related works teams. Ensure payment for work completed by Contractors and support the effective monitoring of performance and expenditure.
It is essential you have knowledge and understanding of Core Housing Systems, Business Planning and Asset Management systems and planned & responsive works with the ability to work on own initiative within defined guidelines. You should have experience of working in a customer focused environment, working collaboratively with other divisions and external stakeholders.
You should have excellent IT skills, particularly experience with Microsoft Word, Excel (2007 and 2010) and housing Asset Management Systems and database systems and high quality communication skills (both written and verbal).
It is desirable you have experience of performing the role of 'principal designer' and knowledge of the requirements of CDM and knowledge and experience of Leasehold Management, Market rent or similar property tenure types and using Propman (Leasehold Management Software System).
