35 hours per week

We have an exciting opportunity for a Housing Officer to join our Care and Support team. In this role you will provide a housing management service for a group of properties. This involves letting and managing properties, income collection and management including signposting residents to money advice agencies, monitoring conditions of our estates and handling enquires from residents. You will also be responsible for enforcing tenancy conditions and attending resident meetings.

To succeed in this role, you must be a confident and effective communicator with previous experience of delivering excellent customer service. You will also have experience of managing voids, rent collection and managing contracts. Familiarity with housing law in shorthold tenancies would be desirable but not essential. You must be a confident user of Microsoft Office programs, particularly with Excel, where you may occasionally be required to analyse data and create reports. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated to achieve targets within set deadlines and comfortable to work without supervision. You will be comfortable influencing residents when needed and have a pro-active approach to problem solving and decision making.

Driving license and own car is essential, travel reimbursed at 0.42 per mile
