The Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join one Orbit's Tenancy Services teams.This team manages a number of developments located in the South East areas including Chatham, Bexley, Hastings, and Margate. As a Tenancy Services Officer you'll have primary responsibility for front line tenancy management on both sites.

Tenancy Services is part of the Customer Services Directorate and is split into two streams of Community Safety and Anti-Fraud and Response; both are responsible for delivering day to day tenancy management and are part of getting us match fit to embrace opportunities and challenges both now and in the future. Key to this has been changing how we work and how we deliver services to customers and work with partners.

So far we have defined what we will and will not do in our role as landlord, created three regions, moved to a patchless model and are now in the process of creating teams of experts rather than asking colleagues to be 'jacks of all trades and masters of none'.

The Tenancy Services Officer role is vital to delivering our service directly to our customers. Based across sites, you will deal with all tenancy issues which should take no longer than 2 weeks to resolve. This will include breaches of tenancy, abandoned vehicles and properties, evictions, tenancy reviews and tenancy audits.

This role requires an individual from a Housing Management background. Decant management experience is useful but not essential. Your ability to deliver great customer service, be accurate with your work and collaborate well with your colleagues in the Response Team, our other teams internally and partners externally is vital to making this role and Orbit a success.
