Business Information Officer
Hightown is a charitable housing association transforming thousands of lives every year. We do this by building hundreds of much needed new homes and providing care and supported housing services for a wide range of people. We currently manage over 6,000 homes and employ over 900 full and part time staff from our head office in Hemel Hempstead. We have an annual turnover of £70 million and a development programme that will deliver around 350 new affordable homes each year.
Once our houses are built, they are let to people who cannot afford to buy or rent at full market values. The majority of our properties are offered to people on local authority housing lists to rent. We also manage homes to let at intermediate rents, for people saving for a deposit, and shared ownership homes, which help people make their first step on the housing ladder.
About the Role
We currently have an opportunity for a Business Information Officer based in our Head Office in Hemel Hempstead. This role will work in the newly formed Business Information Team who are responsible for property data, including setting rents and service charges for our new and existing properties.
The role of Business Information Officer is integral to ensure property data is accurately collated, recorded and analysed across Hightown and they will support to the Business Information Manager by administering the service charges, checking accuracy of property data and updating information. The postholder will be responsible for collating and reviewing monthly key performance indicators and circulating information in accordance with the reporting cycle. They will also administer the Association`s survey timetable, designing surveys, data entry and analysing results.
We are looking for a motivated, organised person who has an eye for detail. Experience in a similar environment is desirable but not essential. It is important that you can demonstrate that you are keen to learn, have excellent numerical and problem solving skills and are dedicated to provide a high level of service to our internal customers.
You will be an advanced user of Microsoft Excel and Work and be able to demonstrate a `can-do` approach. You must be able to work as part of a team to deliver an excellent service to the people we support and be flexible in your approach to work.
