We are looking for an enthusiastic person with great people skills and a methodical and thorough approach to join the Mayor’s Housing Mobility Team. This team provides Londoners living in social housing with opportunities to move through two Mayoral housing mobility schemes – Housing Moves and Seaside & Country Homes. In this role, you will engage with a range of people, from older Londoners wanting to move through Seaside & Country and Homes to the social landlords participating in the schemes. You will respond to queries from London boroughs and housing associations about Housing Moves, assist in marketing the schemes and, for Seaside & Country Homes, make nominations to available homes.

You will be tenacious, with good IT skills and an eye for accuracy. You will also be able to identify issues and solve problems independently and communicate effectively and persuasively. Some knowledge of social housing lettings is also required.

This role will be based in the GLA’s Housing and Land Directorate, located in Union Street SE1 0LL.

London's diversity is its biggest asset and we strive to ensure our workforce reflects London's diversity at all levels. We welcome applications from everyone regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, faith or disability.  Please read our ‘diversity in recruitment’  blog  for more information on the positive steps we are taking to ensure diversity in the GLA Housing and Land Directorate.

We are committed to being an inclusive employer and we are happy to consider flexible working arrangements. The Housing & Land Team blog shows some of the ways our staff can work flexibly.

In addition to a good salary package, we offer an attractive range of benefits including 30 days’ annual leave, interest free season ticket loan, interest free bicycle loan, childcare voucher scheme and a career average pension scheme.
