Framework is a charity delivering housing, support, health and employment services to people with a range of needs.  We assist rough sleepers and those at risk of homelessness.  We support excluded youngsters into adulthood, and those just starting work.  We provide treatment for mental health, alcohol and substance problems, and join up services for people with complex needs.

Through 70 services across the East Midlands, Framework is both a safety net and a platform for change.  Each year more than 12,000 people approach us for help.  Responding to their needs, respecting their choices and empowering them to achieve, we aim to make life better.

Reporting to the Finance Director, our new Head of Finance be a member of our Operational Leadership Group.  You will be responsible for leading the Finance function providing additional technical resource to meet the demands of our continued growth and diversification.

We are looking for a qualified accountant to step into this newly created role. You will need to relish working in an interesting and complex organisation with a strong values base and social purpose.  Your key skills and experience will need to include the following: identifying process improvements and delivery of systems implementations in the finance functions; developing financial policy and being able to communicate it; analytically reviewing and improving financial performance; supporting the Finance Director to deliver the value for money strategy.

This is an opportunity to join a value-driven organisation taking responsible risks to tackle poverty, injustice and exclusion.  If you believe you can meet the challenge we would love to hear from you.

Experience of the housing, charitable or public sectors could be advantageous.  Of greater significance are commitment, resilience and leadership skills.  Above all, we need someone whose concern for those we serve will be paramount.
