We are looking for a self-motivated Technical Assistant to join our Development team on a full time, permanent basis in London Bridge. This is a busy and varied role, supporting Directors and senior stakeholders in day to day activities within the Commercial & Technical team. You will support the team by carrying out crucial research analysis, maintaining systems and assisting with daily administration responsibilities.
As a key member of the team, you'll be required to keep the Electronic Document Management System up to date as required, as well as maintaining a list of the team's key contacts on CRM system, including property & house builder professionals.
You will provide day to day administrative support to the team; managing diaries for Directors/Senior Management, booking meeting venues and travel arrangements, organising meetings and taking minutes, as well as dealing with incoming phone calls and sorting post/emails. You will also manage expense accounts for Directors; ensuring invoices are processed for payments.
To be successful in this role, you will be a confident communicator with knowledge of administration and management of practices to support a senior team. Excellent IT skills (Word, PowerPoint & Excel) and Document Management Systems knowledge is essential, including databases, spreadsheets and other electronic records.
Experience in the housing sector as well as an understanding of the terminology used within the construction world would be desirable, as you will be directly involved in a range of development based activities, with an opportunity for career progression for the right candidate.
An ability to read technical drawings along with an understanding of technical documents used in construction and their purpose would also be advantageous.
