Finance Manager - Interim
This is a 6-month fixed term contract role focusing solely on the migration of legacy fixed asset registers onto the new amalgamated register, using resources across the finance directorate. Responsibilities will be:
• Manage the content and quality of data migrated onto the new Group fixed asset registers, including sub-ledgers for Housing Properties, Investment Properties, Homebuy Loans, Housing Grant, Other Fixed Assets, and RCGF/DPF funds, ensuring all accounting entries are compliant with FRS102 and Housing SORP.
• Design, implement, and critically evaluate robust reconciliations between the legacy Group’s fixed asset registers and the new amalganated register to ensure all asset and grant records are accurate, complete and reliable, taking into account appropriate accounting treatment for Shared Ownership sales, marketing and staircasing and Right to Buy.
• Liaise with IT and facilities to manage the quality of the groups other fixed assets. Design, implement and critically evaluate regular reconciliations between the group’s register and IT and facilities.
• Work with development finance team to ensure accurate data on completeions is uploaded for 2018/19 completions
