SALARY CIRCA £65-70K PER ANNUM DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE, PLUS COMPANY CAR / ALLOWANCE AND COMPETITIVE PENSION SCHEME IN ACCORDANCE WITH SHPS RATES
Shropshire Rural Housing Association have a strong successful track record of providing and managing good quality affordable homes across Shropshire, helping rural communities thrive. The Association has an excellent reputation and a distinctive identity as a rural housing provider.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate their ability to maximise business performance in a senior capacity, have a passion for success and the ability to take and drive forward the ambitions of the Board and the organisation.
Candidates must possess excellent leadership skills and be able to demonstrate senior level collaborative working. You will be a respected ambassador for the Association and must have the skills to work in partnership with a range of external stakeholders. Being a small organisation, you must be willing and able to embrace working on strategic matters, operational detail and service delivery.
To support the Board in setting strategy to deliver the vision; managing, maintaining and improving the existing stock, developing new and high-quality affordable housing across rural Shropshire and being ambitious in making recommendations to the Board for the development and growth of the Association.
To provide clear leadership to the organisation by ensuring effective communication of the Association’s strategy, enabling all staff to deliver high levels of performance that achieves future growth and success.
To collaborate with and advise the Board and Committees in ensuring good governance, consistent with the Association’s Rules and ensuring compliance with social housing’s regulatory code.
