Housing association / RP

Maryhill Housing is a community based association operating in Maryhill and Ruchill in North West Glasgow.  We have strong roots in the area and have grown dramatically in recent years now maintaining over 3,700 homes.

This role is an opportunity to be part of the team leading our ambitious and growing business. As Head of Property you will be responsible for leading the Association’s property, factoring and customer contact services.

This is an exciting time to lead these functions. We have high performing contracts in place across these areas and have a strong, committed team with expertise across the disciplines of procurement, surveying and project management. We are in the process of implementing a new structure for the team which will mean more resources at the front-line, more opportunities for staff to build genuine relationships with customers, more effective asset management and a clear contract management framework.

You do not need to have a technical background to excel in this role. We are looking for someone with an exceptional understanding of what matters to customers, who can inspire and motivate their team, design efficient processes, use data to drive business decisions and hold contractors to account.

Reporting to the Director of Operations you will be a key member of the Senior Management Team. You will work collaboratively with colleagues on all matters of corporate strategy and ensure that Maryhill Housing is an exceptionally customer focused, ambitious, dynamic and sustainable organisation.

If you are up for a challenge and share our aspirations to deliver outstanding service to customers, then we would like to hear from you.

For an informal discussion please contact Jennifer Simon, Director of Operations, on 0141 948 1103 or 07792 039100. You can download a job pack from our website at www.maryhill.org.uk/about-us/jobs.
