Senior Project Manager - New Build
To assist the Group Manager with a client side project management role to deliver all aspects of the Councils new build housing programme.
To contribute to the housing enabling function of the Council by working on existing relationships with Housing Associations, Developers and other organisations willing to build new homes. To work closely with other internal departments, including development management, and spatial planning to enable the delivery of new affordable and market homes.
To deliver the service within the specified function or functions. Ensure that these services are delivered within the Council’s framework of quality standards, performance targets, budgetary control and legislative requirements.
Work in collaboration with other services, and senior management to ensure that services are joined up appropriately and are aligned to the achievement of the Council’s aims and objectives
Minimum of 5 years’ experience of working within a Housing Development Team within either a LA or RSL or 5 years’ experience project managing the delivery of construction projects on schemes of £5m and above.
Flexible Working/Job-share can be considered, plus some home-working
Annual leave entitlement at Band 14 starts at 29 days per annum, increasing after 5 years continuous local government service.
