We’re looking for a results-orientated individual with proven experience of managing multi-disciplined teams in a property development or related environment to join us as a Pre Construction Manager.

A great chance to provide leadership on a range of preconstruction related activities, your main focus will be on improving and achieving viable and deliverable projects from initial layout through to receipt of planning permission. We’ll also rely on you to help ensure the longevity and cost effective maintenance of our assets and monitor and control the handover of this to the Development Delivery Team. Working within our Land and New Business and Development Delivery teams to improve the quality, build efficiency, cost effectiveness and value for money for each development project will be important too. And, when it comes to drawing up budgets and forecasts, helping to prepare bids, managing risk or overseeing the development of design and cost advice, again, we’ll count on you.

You are passionate about leading teams to deliver an excellent customer experience by being easy, reliable and empathetic in the way they deal with customers and colleagues. You work relentlessly to identify and remove pain points and consistently lead others to do the same.

Ideally appropriately qualified, you’ll definitely need proven experience in a similar role that saw you manage teams and formulate and implement successful project management. A detailed understanding of the development process from start to finish is also required, particularly the preliminary design of residential buildings.

Thoroughly conversant with the commercial and technical risks involved, you have strong commercial acumen and a flair for analysing the market. What's more, you’re able to quickly find your feet in a development team and contribute to its objectives, have excellent financial appraisal, report writing skills and are committed to delivering high levels of performance and professionalism.
