An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint an Income Manager in our Financial Wellbeing Team within South Tyneside Homes. South Tyneside Homes is the Arms Length Management Organisation that manages over 17,200 homes on behalf of South Tyneside Council.
So, what are we looking for?
We are looking for a motivational and innovative Income Manager to join our well established and highly ambitious Income Team. As our ideal candidate, you will continuously strive to improve services and further develop our culture of problem solving and proactivity.
We’re looking for someone who can provide inspirational leadership and management to our high performing team of Income Officers and Income Assistants, to ensure that they continue to perform to a high standard on income collection, and that they comply with all statutory requirements, policies and priorities.
You’ll need a proven track record of achieving and exceeding personal, team and organisational performance targets and objectives, whilst supporting a team with guidance in relation to prevention or enforcement action in relation to breach of tenancy.
You will also have excellent interpersonal skills, and be able to work in partnership with managers from other teams as well as Housing Benefits, DWP and other agencies. Finally, you must be flexible and be prepared to travel to various locations.
The Role
Amongst other things, you will work closely with the Financial Wellbeing Manager, Senior Income Officer and the Welfare Support Manager to strive for efficiency by ensuring systems and processes are in place to deliver income maximisation and tenancy sustainment.
You will also identify and implement solutions to barriers to delivering an excellent income collection service. The post will also require you to manage a constantly changing and evolving service to meet the needs of our customers and the organisation.
If you would like further information in relation to this post, please contact Theresa Amour, Financial Wellbeing Manager by telephone: 0191 4268464 or email: theresa.amour@southtynesidehomes.org.uk
