Role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our transforming organisation here at Radian as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer. We are looking to grow the business substantially over the next few years and that growth will be under-pinned by our digital roadmap and ‘cloud-first’ strategy. There is a huge potential to progress yourself and career within the IT team
Working within the Infrastructure Team, you will be key to delivering an ambitious programme of technical change projects to support our business growth and transformation strategy. This includes a full migration to Office 365, Azure Implementation, maintenance of our existing datacentre and core systems, as well as supporting key strategic technical projects - such as mobile working and customer portals.

Reporting to the IT Infrastructure Team Leader, you will have hands on experience using and administering Azure, including design, implementation and configuration. You will be a highly motivated, well organised technical expert with a ‘can do’ attitude, passion for technology and a proven competency in multiple areas of IT infrastructure, including Citrix, VMware, Microsoft Server, Scripting and Automation (PowerShell), Networking and SAN technology.

The post will be based at either Parkside House in Windsor or Collins House in Eastleigh, which has excellent transport links and is just a few minutes from the train station.
Additionally, working at Radian you will receive some excellent benefits such as 28 days paid leave plus bank holidays, flexi time where you can adjust your work week to suit you as long as it is within business needs. We offer an excellent pension of up to 12% employer contribution depending on your contribution and at Radian we can provide comprehensive training and development opportunities within your role. We are keen to promote this to our staff and can occasionally help to fund outside qualifications and training.

Qualifications
Two current technical qualifications, ideally in one of the above areas, are essential.  You will also have at least three years’ experience in a senior technical role and knowledge of working on the full technical support lifecycle. The ability to work under pressure and to tight timescales within an ever-changing environment is essential.
You and your team will act as an escalation point for 3rd and 4th line support issues and will work with all areas of the Operational team to ensure system downtime is kept to a minimum and appropriate customer service levels and SLAs are maintained.
Although based at either Parkside or Collins House, there will be occasional requirements to travel.  We have only one vacancy for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, but it could be based out of either site.
