Could you help us manage billions of pounds of investment to start to tackle London’s housing crisis and deliver thousands of affordable homes?

The Programme Management team within Housing & Land is a high-performing team responsible for managing and supporting delivery of the Mayor’s £4bn affordable housing and land programmes. The team is central to monitoring budgets and expenditure; tracking outputs and progress against targets and agreed milestones; establishing and providing guidance on operational processes and reporting on all of our work to help tackle London’s housing crisis.

We are looking for a driven individual with extensive experience in investment programme management and advanced experience of data management to help further develop our processes across a range of activity. You will lead on development and implementation of new and innovative approaches to achieving the Mayor’s housing and land priorities both within the directorate and across the GLA group.

You will be an advanced user of data analysis tools (such as Excel, Report Servier, JasperSoft, Business Objects or similar) with skills in applying these to monitor all aspects of large scale programmes. You will help to drive the continuous improvement of the GLA’s reporting and monitoring capabilities and take a lead on establishing and implementing new approaches to managing affordable housing and land programmes in line with the Mayor’s new priorities.

This is a key role for the directorate aimed at providing senior level expertise in all aspects of programme management, monitoring and reporting across a range of housing and land initiatives.

We are committed to being an inclusive employer and we are happy to consider flexible working arrangements. We would welcome applications from candidates who are seeking part time work as this role is open to job share. The Housing & Land Team blog shows some of the ways our staff can work flexibly.

In addition to a good salary package, we offer an attractive range of benefits including 30 days’ annual leave, interest free season ticket loan, interest free bicycle loan, childcare voucher scheme and a career average pension scheme.
