Notting Hill Genesis are recruiting for a Waking Night Worker to join their team located in Ipswich.

Notting Hill Genesis is one of the largest providers of housing related support to single homeless people within Suffolk. We have recently undergone an ambitious change programme within several of our schemes across the county. The aim of the new services, is to ensure our customers achieve their goals and aspirations through the support, encouragement and guidance of our staff.

This is an exciting time to join Notting Hill Genesis as we are recruiting to several jobs in the Suffolk area. Located at our Withipoll street scheme in Ipswich, the Waking Night Worker will be responsible for the safety and wellbeing of our customers and security of our scheme at night. The Withipoll Street scheme is an accommodation based environment that supports single homeless people who may have experienced drug, alcohol, substance misuse problems, and/or have varying support needs.

The primary focus of our schemes is to support clients in a range of areas, including finding employment, signposting to external agencies, and building stability through a range of social activities. A successful outcome is achieved when our customers can move on to more suitable long-term accommodation, appropriate to their needs.

Although previous supported housing experience would be suitable for this role, we are also looking for inspirational individuals who will seize the potential of making a difference in people's lives. We want to find motivational individual's that have a genuine interest working with vulnerable people and delivering a person-centred service.
