Permanent, 35 hours per week

£18,000-£21,500 per annum

We are looking to appoint a skilled and enthusiastic concierge to provide excellent customer service to residents and staff in our brand new independent living scheme for the over 55s in Caversham, Reading.

This is an amazing opportunity to be a key part of a new team in an exciting environment. You'll be responsible for:

· Helping new residents move into their new home with minimum fuss and stress

· Undertaking a range of minor repairs and practical tasks in order to maintain the scheme in a pristine condition

· Welcoming visitors and ensuring the security of the building

· Assisting residents with tasks such as on-site bookings and appointments, taking deliveries, signposting residents to relevant information, and organising transport as needed.

To be successful in the role you will need to:

· Possess an understanding of Health and Safety regulations and procedures

· Have experience in carrying out risk assessments

· Be self-motivated and capable of working with minimum supervision

· Have a creative approach to problem solving.
