Senior Development Manager

You will lead and manage the delivery of a portfolio of development schemes varying in size, complexity and tenure mix on both Catalyst procured sites and developer led sites, through s.106 agreements. You will provide strong leadership, inspiration and motivation for the activities of the project team to achieve the build and sales programmes within the approved budget, timescales and design specification. You will create profit in our private sales activities to sustain our affordable homes programme and work collaboratively with finance colleagues.
You are passionate about leading teams to deliver an excellent customer experience by being easy, reliable and empathetic in the way you deal with customers and colleagues. You will seek to understand fully your customers’ needs, identifying and working to remove pain points and always doing what you say you will. You will be an inspirational manager with a demonstrably successful record of delivering development schemes. You will have brilliant project management skills with a keen commercial awareness and ability to critique and modify financial appraisals, manage costs, quality, timescales and risk, anticipating problems and opportunities and taking the initiative to implement required actions.
You are a highly effective communicator with the ability to listen and be firm where appropriate. You will have strong presentational, report writing and IT skills relevant to the delivery of complex development schemes. Qualified RICS, RTPI (or similar) is desirable but not essential.
