An excellent opportunity has opened in our Care and Support division for a weekend Chef.

You will be providing a comprehensive catering service, leading the service at weekends within budget, to ensure the delivery of high quality meals to clients living in sheltered accommodation and/or the wider community.

Working in Charles Clore Court & Chimney Court, Reading, you will be responsible for the preparation, cooking and serving of meals and meeting Company and Environmental Health Standards. You must make sure dietary and cultural needs and preferences are met and ensure all catering tasks are carried out as requested by Chef Manager and or Catering Manager. You must ensure all documents, records and systems are updated in accordance with relevant procedures and ensure Health & Safety & Food Hygiene standards are maintained at all times and all practices meet the statutory regulations, including the Registered Homes Act 1984, and A2Dominion's Health & Safety policy.

To be successful in this role you must be educated to GCSE level or equivalent in Maths and English (Grades A* - C) and have UK
recognised food preparation qualification and Food Hygiene Certificate and have experience of preparing highly nutritious meals. We are ideally looking for committed catering professionals not already employed elsewhere within the week and topping up their hours with additional hours in the weekend. Please note you must be available to attend our training programme at our head office during the week
