Can you help lead one of the most innovative business development teams in housing?

Notting Hill Genesis is one of London’s largest developers. We’re financially robust and have a fantastic track record of winning exciting new business. We can offer you a unique opportunity to inspire the creation of a better London. Our successful New Business Team is motivated by the positive impact that good quality housing has on people’s lives. We have 6,800 homes in our five year programme, 64,000 homes currently in management with assets worth in excess of £19.7bn.

We’re good at what we do and believe we can do even more with the addition of your creativity and entrepreneurial spirit in this role, which is critical to our overall success.

We have high standards. The team you’ll lead works hard in a challenging environment, identifying the right opportunities, creating and securing our future projects. We’ll need you to lead with passion and by example, getting the best from your team by supporting their development and coaching them to success. We’ll do the same for you.

We know we need to be creative to stand out from the crowd when we’re bidding. That’s why we’re carefully seeking out more joint ventures and collaborations so we can think even bigger. You’ll represent NHG at a senior level so you’ll be credible and have the gravitas to enhance our reputation. Your skill in seeking out new business opportunities, then leading and winning large complex bids is invaluable to us; we’ll recognise that and give you the autonomy to get things done.

Like us, you’ll be tenacious and have a strong desire to win. We’ll rely on you to manage our large, complex bids, develop and manage financial appraisals and set up complex legal structures, including joint ventures. You’ll have influence on our strategic direction, so you’ll have both an eye for detail and the vision to see how each new scheme might strengthen our overall offer. Finally, you’ll have senior level experience in development and bring with you knowledge of Planning, project management, construction and a thorough understanding of affordable housing tenures and residual land valuation.

If this sounds like a challenge for you, we’d love to hear from you.

In return we offer you 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), health cash plan, season ticket loan, tenancy deposit loan, cycle 2 work scheme, childcare vouchers, life assurance and a generous contributory pension offer.

Please submit your CV and a supporting statement outlining your suitability for the role via our online applications portal. Please note a supporting statement is not a cover letter, and should total no more than 2 x A4 pages. You will need to address the requirements on the role profile and provide examples of your relevant experience.

Applications for this role close at midday on 20 February 2019. Shortlisted candidates will be required to come in for interviews week commencing 25 February 2019. These assessments will include a presentation and interview; you will also be required to complete some assessments.
