The main purpose of this role is to provide a high quality; customer focused cyclical maintenance service, ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with Health & Safety regulations and the organisation’s operational procedures.

You will be responsible for ensuring all maintenance to care homes and sheltered accommodation is carried out to a high standard achieving high levels of customer satisfaction and first time completion.  To ensure that all work undertaken is fully compliant with Health & Safety procedures and legislation so that properties are safe for residents to live in which includes a safe working environment to mitigate risk to staff and customers. 

The ideal candidate should have the multi-skills knowledge and competency to effectively coordinate a linked programme of works and the ability to plan each job and ensure materials are available to complete the programme of works to schedule. 

You should have experience of installations, maintenance and repairs and be able to use handheld devices and be asbestos awareness trained.  You should be able to communicate effectively with a positive approach to problem solving. 

You should be able to adapt and adopt a flexible approach to hours worked as you will be required to fulfil the duty rota as required.  You should hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle for business use.

The successful applicant will require an Enhanced DBS Application.
