Sustain (UK) Ltd is a Registered Social Landlord based that has grown rapidly since it was set up in 2009. The business now has a bed capacity of some 2,500 spread across Birmingham and the wider area. With a turnover in excess of £23 million pa and a growth rate of some 20%pa, the business is looking to appoint a number of significant positions within the organisation based in Harborne, Birmingham:

Sustain (UK) Ltd is now looking to appoint an additional support inspector, probably on a part-time basis. The role will entail working within our expanding inspections team checking support files and interviewing the support managers and workers of all of our 130+ Housing Providers sited across Birmingham. You will be generating reports and action plans and helping formulated pragmatic solutions to all the myriad of problems that generally occur in helping vulnerable people to thrive in a homely and well-supported environment.

The team work on a variety of both planned and announced visits coupled with re-active and un-announced work. You will be required to work both as part of a team and individually as is deemed necessary.

The suitable candidate must have knowledge of support plan paperwork and ideally will have experience of the mental health/alcohol abuse in vulnerable adults field.  Access to a car and holding a full driving licence is essential to the position. The role is likely to be part-time and flexible, and the remuneration package will be dependent upon your experience.
