We're looking for an exceptional Project Officer to support the Fire Safety Programme Manager by providing project management and co-ordination across a wide range of ongoing projects.

We'll look to you to ensure that conflicting demands on time and resource between projects are addressed, projects are not delayed and that all project requirements are met. You'll need to develop excellent working relationship with colleagues in operational teams, working closely with Property Services, Property Investment and Housing teams to deliver all Property Services projects.

You'll need a strong understanding of data and the importance of data accuracy when managing a fire safety remedial programme, and you'll need to ensure that all procurement projects are planned sufficiently far in advance to ensure that effective services are procured and that value for money can be demonstrated.

Other responsibilities include:

  • To lead on Section 20 and Service Charge elements within procurement projects and liaise with other teams accordingly, including any resident liaison
  • To lead on resident and MP enquiries and complaints relating to work the team are undertaking
  • To work with the Fire Safety and Strategic Programme Managers to plan and develop workshops, training and other similar events, and ensure that all outcomes form such events are captured, recorded and circulated as needed
  • To facilitate contract reviews for Fire Safety Remedial work, and work with the Fire Safety Programme Manager to ensure documents are updated and circulated, maintaining a central document repository for operational teams to access

You'll already have experience at a senior administrative or project management level in a large Housing Association and be educated to at least A level or similar and hold an LIA or similar qualification. You'll need experience with working with large volumes of data, particularly in Excel and demonstrable experience of working major change projects in a Property Services or Asset Management environment.

  • Excellent communication and listening skills with experience of communicating verbally and in writing with customers, suppliers, colleagues and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Problem solving skills with proven track record of delivering positive outcomes for customers
  • Influencing skills with experience of dealing directly with customers
