We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Business Development Director to join Guinness Care, part of The Guinness Partnership, one of the largest housing associations in England.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you’ll be responsible for implementing a growth strategy backed up by a marketing and communication plan which promotes Guinness Care and drives the achievement of business growth to meet stretching targets.

You will have a track record in business development within private and public sectors that includes securing and mobilising new contracts and launching new services. The customer group is mainly older people in need of care and support.

Relationship management is critical to success and you will be the lead in making contact with local networks across private, community and public sector organisations, including commissioners, over a range of locations - positioning and marketing Guinness Care’s services, particularly in people’s own homes.

The priority is to grow our customer base, harnessing the right resources to deliver on a newly agreed strategy. This leadership role is very much about looking forward, growing with purpose and not compromising on quality.

This is a permanent role but we would also consider candidates who are interested in an interim opportunity. Please submit your CV and let us know if you are interested in an interim or permanent role, and what kind of availability you have. We will be back in touch with further information.

We will share your details with a third party agency who will be supporting Guinness with recruitment to this post
